How to create mini courses with Selsy?

Selsy makes it easy to create personalized mini courses in just a few simple steps. With the power of AI, you can create high-quality course content quickly and efficiently. Follow the steps below to create your first mini course!

Step 1: Sign Up and Select a Plan

1. Sign Up:
   • Visit Selsy and sign up for an account.
   • You will need to provide your email address and create a password to get started.
   • 
2. Choose a Plan:
   • After signing up, you’ll be prompted to select a plan. You can either:
     • Start with a Free Trial: Get a feel for the platform with limited features.
     • Select a Paid Plan: Choose a plan that suits your needs for creating and managing multiple mini courses.
   • Once you’ve selected your plan, you’ll be redirected to your Selsy Creator Dashboard.

Step 2: Create a Bundle

1. Access Your Dashboard:
   • In your Selsy Creator Dashboard, click on the “Create Bundle” button.
2. Create a New Bundle:
   • A bundle is a collection of related mini courses.
   • Give your bundle a name and description to keep everything organized.
3. Save the Bundle:
   • Once you have your bundle ready, save it. You will be able to add more materials and resources later as you build your course.

Step 3: Input Mini Course Details

1. Enter Course Information:
   • Now that you have your bundle set up, it’s time to input the details for your mini course. Fill out the following fields:
     • Profession: What industry or field is your course related to (e.g., Marketing, Design, Technology)?
     • Target Audience: Who is your course intended for (e.g., beginners, advanced professionals)?
     • Course Description: Write a brief overview of what your course will cover and the benefits to the learner.
     • Language: Select the language in which your course will be created (e.g., English, Spanish, etc.).
2. Save the Course Details:
   • Once you’ve input all the necessary information, click Save to move forward.

Step 4: Generate Course Titles with AI

1. AI-Generated Titles:
   • After saving your course details, Selsy will use its AI to generate possible course titles based on the information you’ve provided.
   • Browse through the generated titles and choose the one that best fits your course.
   • If you prefer, you can also add your own custom title.
2. Select a Title:
   • Once you’ve selected or entered your desired course title, click Next to proceed.

Step 5: Generate and Customize the Course Outline

1. AI-Generated Outline:
   • Selsy will automatically create a detailed course outline based on your course information.
   • The AI will suggest different sections and topics that should be covered in the course.
2. Modify the Outline:
   • Review the AI-generated outline. You can:
     • Add New Sections: Click on “Add Section” to include more topics or lessons.
     • Delete Sections: If there are any sections you don’t need, click on the trash icon to remove them.
     • Edit Sections: Modify the titles and descriptions of any sections to better suit your course.
3. Finalizing the Outline:
   • Once you’re satisfied with the outline, click Generate Course to proceed to content creation.

Step 6: Generate the Course Content

1. Generate Course Content:
   • Click on the Generate Course button to let the AI create the full content of your mini course.
   • The AI will work quickly to generate lesson materials, text, quizzes, and more based on your outline.
2. Wait for Content Generation:
   • Within seconds, the AI will have your course content ready.

Step 7: Edit and Customize the Course

1. Redirection to Selsy Editor:
   • After the course is generated, you will be redirected to the Selsy Editor.
   • In the editor, you can further customize the course:
     • Add or remove content
     • Edit text, add images, videos and change formatting
     • Create interactive elements such as quizzes or MCQs, Flash Cards
2. Personalize Your Course:
   • Customize each section of the course as needed. You can adjust the content to match your teaching style or to fit your brand.

Step 8: Publish and Share Your Course

1. Preview Your Course:
   • Before you publish, take a moment to preview the course to ensure everything looks great.
2. Publish & Share:
   • Once you’re happy with the course, click Share to make your mini course available to your audience.
